Program Qualifications
| 1. | Students will have a high level of theoretical and practical knowledge in English language and be able to express their ideas in written and oral form. |
| 2. | Students will have the ability to think analytically and express themselves imaginatively. |
| 3. | Students will learn to serve society by passing on knowledge and experience in schools, cultural institutions, or elsewhere. |
| 4. | Students will have up-to-date knowledge in literary terminology, and the periods, movements and genres in English literature. |
| 5. | Students will have an ability to discuss culture with a knowledge of related disciplines and subjects like class, gender and ethnicity. |
| 6. | Students will be able to conduct research in literature and culture through the use of information technologies. They will be informed in research techniques, methods and ethical issues. |
| 7. | Students will be able to assess other literatures than English. |
| 8. | Students will have a background in literary theory and will be able to analyze literary and cultural texts. |
